OFFICIAL RULES AND GUIDELINES
1. TOURMENT FORMAT

Team Structure:
-
18 Holes
-
4 Man Teams
-
Shotgun Start
-
Best ball format
-
-
Objective:
Teams must finish the tournament with a score of exactly 100 points after 18 holes to win. ( One-hole Playoff, if necessary for tie)

Scoring and Tie-Breaker
Birdies equals par
Par 4 equal 5 points
Par 5 equal 6 points
Bogeys lose one point
Double bogey lose 2 points
Triple bogey lose 3 points
One hole playoff, if necessary for tie)
2. UNIQUE CHALLENGE HOLES

Sand Trap Challenge (Par-3):
-
Objective: Aim to land tee shot into designated sand trap.
-
Only one player allowed to play ball from sand trap.
-
Only one player allowed to putt
-
If team miss sand trap completely, team lose two points
-
Strategy: Teamwork and Skill

2. The Iron Gauntlet
-
Objective: Players select and play only one iron from tee to hole.
-
1 iron to 7 iron, no 8,9, wedges, or woods
-
Use selected iron for putting/chipping
Strategy: Decision-making and skill
-
Escape the Canopy Challenge (Par-4 hole):​​
-
If shot does not exit canopy, team lose a point.
-
Team selects one player for the tee shot
-
Objective: Tee off through a tree-lined canopy (narrow route).
Strategy: teamwork, skill, precision shots player.

Shortest Drive Showdown (Par-4):
-
Objective: team play shortest drive.
Strategy: teamwork, recovery skills

Double Play Hole Challenge:
-
Objective: To get exactly 100 points or closest to 100, teams may double their score. Their doubled score can either be added or subtracted from their overall score. (ex. Teams scores par on par 4 hole, they may add 4 points for an 8 or they may subtract 8 strokes from their total, at their discretion, in order to get closest to exactly 100).
Strategy: Conservative play and strategic risk

3. COSTUMES
1. Team Costumes
-
- Recommended, NOT REQUIRED that each team wear matching costumes.
(Ex. Matching hat, matching shirt, matching cowboy hat, matching hardhat, etc)
• Costumes must be safe for play and appropriate for a family-friendly environment.

Bonus Award: Prizes will be given for categories like “Best Costume,” “Most Creative,” and “Funniest Costume.”
4. CHEERS /SHOUTS
A. Cheer Challenge at Hole 1:
-
- Before the first tee shot on Hole 1, teams must perform their team cheer to energize the crowd.
-
- While one golfer swings, the other three team members must shout their cheer loudly to playfully distract their teammate.

Rules for Cheers:
-
-Cheers must be short (under 10 seconds) and loud enough to add fun, not disrupt others on the course.
-
All cheers must be appropriate and align with the tournament's lighthearted spirit.

Awards for Cheers:
• Teams can win special prizes for categories like “Best Team", "Best Cheer,” “Loudest Cheer,” and “Most Hilarious Performance.”
5. ADDITIONAL RULES
A. Sportsmanship and Safety:
-
- All participants must maintain a spirit of fairness, fun, and respect for others on the course.
-
- Unsafe behavior or inappropriate costumes/cheers may result in disqualification.
B. Pace of Play:
-
- Teams must keep pace with the group ahead of them. Marshals will monitor play and enforce timing if necessary. C. Spectator Interaction

- Spectators on the first hole are encouraged to cheer for teams and engage with costume contests and social media polls for the best cheer or costume.
6. Prizes and Awards
A. FIRST PLACE: $1000.00

- Awarded to the team that finishes with a score of exactly 100.
-
- If no team scores exactly 100, the team closest to 100 but not above 100, get invited to play in the 100 Hole Hustle Regional Championship.
